Making a Compromise

          For two years, it has been a tradition for my sister and me to fly from our home in Taiwan

to Japan to do shopping. 

In July, there are clothing sales everywhere in Japan, so we always go for one week. 

This year I wasn’t able to fly to Tokyo with my sister because Im in Vancouver. 

I don’t like to fly alone for many hours and I wanted to go on a trip with my boyfriend, so I tried to convince him to go with me. 

We would meet my sister in Tokyo. Since we only planned to shop, my boyfriend didn’t like the idea of paying for an expensive plane ticket just to go shopping. 

He had never been to Japan and he wanted to go sightseeing as well. I bought my own ticket, but I had to persuade him to buy his own. One night at dinner, I asked, “Would you like to go to Japan with me?”

            His immediately replied, “Are you crazy? It’s too expensive for me.” 

He was a student, so he was skeptical about spending 1600 dollars on a plane ticket. 

He wanted to go on a vacation with me but he wanted to go somewhere closer to Vancouver. 

I told him we might be busier with school next year and wouldn’t be able to go on any trips. 

He likes Japan anyway, and it would be great opportunity to go now. I also reminded him that we had never been on a vacation before. 

He started to give in but wasn’t enthusiastic about doing so much shopping. 

Seeing his frown, I offered a compromise, “We could do three days of shopping and three days of sightseeing.” I pulled his arm gently and begged. He smiled and agreed. 

We had a great time on our trip.

It's Getting There

Seeing the people who I love

It really broke my heart

A lot of things happened last 2 weeks

and we almost cry

so we stopped haha

Alex came and picked us up

and he said it mght be our last class in Cap

Yesterday the weather was freezing me to death

Lu and me were screaming in the outdoor parkade so we just run into her car assp

I Have To Learn Not To Eat the Snow

Winter has come already
and as the days are getting dark earier and earlier!

I cant believe it's been another winter :"(

The white colour covers everywhere these couple days

and yeah

My dear baileys has arrived last Thursday

I got so emo few days ago as I wrote the last post

so I cried at that night

Alex was worry bout me and I knew he tried his best just to cheer me up

and he finally made me laugh after 2 hours 

Im just so lucky

My life is full of happiness in each moment

Saturday we went to PetSmart

and sent Nibi to the pet salon for grooming

He was on his daddy's car and so excited

He loves to go out with us haha

Our Nibi does not really look like a dog anymore

He love to sleeps on a pillow on our bed

and he snores so much

It disturbs me every night so then I need to push him, so he stops :P

He eats human's food

He feels angry when he cant get his toy which under the sofa

so he begs me to get it for him (he forces me to do it actually XD)

He usually feels sleepy and has to go to sleep after 1 am(he cant stay up late)

and a lot else.....

Haha

We love Nibi

I guess he loves us as well :)

Wow Im so so so looking forward to it

I found a story book today in a cafe

I remember that Ive read this story when i was a child

A King he has twelve children

twelve princes and one little princess

One day they got a stepmother 

a queen who was a very evil (which sounds so trite...hahaha)

She curses the princes

turns them all into swans

The little princess has to gather nettles and knit these into shirts that will help her twelve brothers back to humans
She breacks the curse and rescues them in the ends

I pretty sure U all heard this story before

Its a very stupid story actually.....

But I read it all over again

The latest movie we watched in a cinema was Resident Evil

Long time ago.......

Lately theres no movie attracts us to go to a cinema and watch it (I download movies mostly..haha! =P)

I prefer to watch sci-fi or horror movies in a cinema

Sometimes I will go for a action movie :)

We watched a movie trailer, called "Skyline"

Maybe we gonna go watch it :)

I hope its not so bad

Theres a shopping event on holt renfrew this weekend

I feel like I seriously need an alexander mcquee

A skull scarf maybe :)

Last thing to say

I havent finished my essay....

A couple sentences from my intro:

Since the arrival of European settlers in Canada

Native people have been mistreated

They has tried to assimilate the Natives, they has put them on reserves

and the government does not respect the Natives cultural identity 

It wanted the Natives to know how to communicate in English, believe in Christianity

and do more European activities(like no hunting or fishing)

Hmmm

 It did treated the Natives very bad

just like how the Canadian govnt treated the Chinese in the past

I still think the Natives are so poor  

even although now the government gives the Natives a lot of allowance monthly

(Haha why not Chinese?) 

Until....

You know wat?

when I did my research I realize that

On the street there are so many homeless people now in Canada

Most of them are the Natives

They take DRUG and drink ALCOHOL

Where they got the MONEY?

Opps! They got the MONEY from the government

How ironic :P

Im sitting in front of my laptop and doing my essay

Jason invited me to join their party on Saturday

Err....Im not really a party animal

I guess I would go without thinking of my essay when I was 19 or younger...Haha

I think Nini and I havent drank alcohol in ages :P

 YEAH Im a geek!

who only hanging out with few friends(who I love :P), love to watch movies, being on the internet, and stay at home with Nini and Nibi

However

I actually love my life now way more than I used to have :P

Im doing an English essay but I seriously feel like its a history essay

The reason is because I chose a topic about Canada’s treatment of Natives which reveals it to be a racist country

It sounds boring but 

I think its the easiest topic from the list

its funny that I started to read my hist textbook after the hist midterm....haha!

I have to read it because it gonna make my bibliography looks nicer if I quote setences from a book but not from internet :)))

Hair Coloring

Should I dye my hair into dark brown?

I want something like "chocolate brown" or "mocha" or "costa riche"?
(Haha they r kinda the same)

It has been almost 2 years since I had my blonde hair

So I think it will be cool if I dye it into a darker colour?

I know I can still dye it back to blonde if I want when Im going back to Taiwan this Xmas :)

My colour contacts were broken..... so Im wearing glasses now.....I guess I wont have a chance to get a new pair till this weekend or next?

I cant dye my hair when Iam wearing my glasses right(?) sigh.....:"(

Anyway! Im so looking forward to it! I wish it turns out a nice result hehehe :"D

One more thing to say

I decide not to go to fight night this year......

Even though Im so scared of all the frightening attractions

but I actually love the atmostphere there :P

But I guess I need to give it up this year since I really got a busy Halloween to go.....

My essay is due on 31th Oct!!! What a kindly teacher!!! X"(

Oh yeah! We both surprised by Winners! Haha I seriously have to admit that this is a very nice place to shop.....I never know it before! I got a lovely leather jacket there :D Hmm.... I know Ive already had one black leather jk.....
Nini got black work pants from there as well and they are so cheap :))) We love Winners haha!

My Previous Week

DONE MY EXAM TODAY! AND MY SORE THROAT FEELS BETTER NOW!

I knew i was saying "i cn't do this, No more! No more! Please please" ALL da time last week.....

Haha now iam done! Although I knew I gonna fail my history....but watever I did try my best :)))
